Family Photographer in Norman | Sutton Wilderness Park Golden Hour Session
This golden hour family session at Sutton Park in Norman was everything I love about photographing families.
We took full advantage of the park’s open fields as the sun dipped low, wrapping everything in that dreamy golden glow. From running and twirling to deep belly laughs, this session was pure joy from start to finish.
As a reminder to your future session, your photo session doesn’t have to feel like a checklist or something Mom has to convince everyone to do! When you come ready to play and connect, that’s when the real magic happens!
One of my favorite parts of this session was meeting a very special guest … Mousey! The family’s little boy brought along his classroom’s “class pet” from If You Give a Mouse a Cookie. Each student gets to bring Mousey home for a weekend and include him in family adventures. And what an adventure it was for Mousey to join in on family photos! He even put on his bow tie to look nice for big moment.
We made sure to capture a few photos with him, and they were promptly sent off to the teacher so the class could see what Mousey got up to. I loved hearing that Mousey had even been to Disney World with big sister (who had the same teacher, how sweet is that?). I think it’s safe to say that family photos are right up there with a big vacation on Mousey’s list of adventures! ;)
