Lake families! I’m so glad you found me!

Whether this is your first photo session or you're coming back for another round, I want you to know this will be relaxed, playful, and full of connection. As a fellow lake rat, I’m here to hop on board, turn up the music, and capture your family doing what you love: soaking up the sun, splashing through the water, and making memories together.

There’s just something about the lake. The slower pace, the sun-drenched memories, the barefoot freedom of it all. Whether your family’s lakes day includes cannonballs off the dock, water-sports and snack breaks, or evening boat rides at golden hour, these sessions are about capturing it exactly how it feels.

This is not about trying to get everyone to smile at once (though we will get one or two of those!). It’s about adventure, movement, light, and connection. It’s about you soaking up each other and this season of life. We’ll let the water do its thing, and I’ll do mine: documenting the real, the playful, and the beautifully in-between.

WHAT EXACTLY IS A LAKE DAYS SESSION?

Lake Days are a seasonal subset of my Everyday Adventure Sessions, designed for families who feel most like themselves on the water. These sessions happen during the warmer months (typically May–September) and focus on documenting your crew in your element: relaxed, sun-soaked, and fully present. You know the kind of magic I’m talking about…sandy feet on the nearby beach, snack breaks on the sundeck, the way your kids go feral in the best way once their life jackets are on. If the lake feels like your family’s happy place, then these sessions were made for you.

Let’s turn your family’s favorite kind of day into your favorite kind of memories.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Lake Day Sessions are part guided, part fly-on-the-wall. I’ll give you prompts and ideas if needed to help things flow naturally, but I also know when to step back and let your story unfold. These sessions are perfect for families who love to be outside and want something a little more relaxed — with a good dose of adventure.

We’ll spend our time splashing, snacking, exploring, and vibing in the sunshine. The goal is to create space for genuine PLAY and connection and let me capture the magic that happens when you're simply being together.

I currently offer Lake Day Sessions at the following lakes:

  • Lake Eufaula

  • Lake Tenkiller * these sessions are grouped with Lake Eufaula bookings, just note that a $75 travel fee will apply.

  • Lake Arcadia

  • Lake Thunderbird

WHAT CAN WE DO DURING OUR SESSION?

We’ll follow your family’s rhythm! Whether that means high-energy tubing or a peaceful sunset float. There’s no script and no pressure.

Here are just a few things we can include during your session:

Tubing, wake surfing, wakeboarding, or skiing
Cannonballing off the dock
Fishing from the boat or the shore
A slow sunset cruise
A snack break or picnic on the boat
Stopping by the marina for snow cones or burgers
Anchoring near a quiet beach to explore
A dance party on the sun deck
Swimming, floating, or just relaxing in the sunshine

We’ll document the play, the calm, the joy, and the in-between. If it feels like your family and it happens on the lake, it belongs in your session.

How Long Does a Session Last?

Lake Days usually last around 90 - 120 minutes, but there's no rush. Some adventures unfold quickly with high energy, while others take their time, easing into the rhythm of the water and sun.

We leave space for real moments to happen. Sometimes it takes a little extra time to get the boat in and out of the water or to drift into that perfect beach. And that’s okay! Because these sessions aren’t about staging quick photo ops. They’re about documenting the actual experience. A full turn on the tube. An entire song danced out while wake surfing. A long float near the dock while everyone catches their breath.

This time flies by because we’re not just “taking pictures” we’re doing what your family already does to make summer memories. I’m simply along for the ride, capturing it as it naturally unfolds.

I open seasonal booking a few times a year, and my email list always gets first access. That means if you’re subscribed, you’ll be the first to know when spring, summer, or fall sessions are released (since Lake Days are limited seasonally, they tend to go quickly!).
